Executive Committee
On Sunday morning 22nd August, Q.R.I bowlers played
mixed pairs for trophies donated by Danny Cummings and Steve Lancaster.
Winners for the game were W.McCurley and T.Treichel, runners up A.Cook
and F.Cook with the sportspersons award going to A.Bryant and D.Bryant.
Next game for Q.R.I. bowlers will be Sunday morning 12th September at
Burnett Bowls Club for a return visit from Isis bowlers combined with
Simon and Janelle Franks kind donation of trophies. This will be a mixed
triples game starting at 9.30am with names to be in by 9am on the day or
on the sheet provided at the club.
Good luck and good bowling to those players who will be heading off to
Noosa-Tewantin Bowls Club this weekend to compete in the 2010
Q.R.I.S.B.C. State Carnival starting Monday 30th August and finalising
Thursday 2nd September.

Triples. Sunday 21st - F .Cook & M. Stuchbery (the Barber) Trophies –
Mixed Pairs.
December
Sunday 5th – Cookies Ham Day.
Sunday 12th – Christmas Breakup Bowls, drinks & lunch..
If there are any queries regarding the preceding
games and dates, please contact Games Director Fred Cook or Secretary
Amy Ambrey. It is envisaged that away games will be organised from time
to time for Q.R.I. bowlers this year and these games will be advertised
as they are arranged.
