Program 2011
On Sunday 26th June Q.R.I. bowlers played against
Isis Bowls Club for the biannual trophy at Childers. Isis won with 127
points to Q.R.I. 107. Winners for the day were L.Grant, D.Saunders,
R.Berndt and R.Zimatat, runners up were T.Gleich, E.Madden, L.Ackroyd
and R.Williams with the sportspersons trophy going to P.Biggs, I.Biggs,
D.Bust and H.Foster.
Next game for Q.R.I. players will be Sunday morning 10th July to play
mixed pairs for trophies kindly donated by Denis Bust and Helen Foster
combined with Past Presidents. Play will start at 9.30am with names to
be on the sheet provided at Burnett Bowls Club by 9am on the day. Q.R.I.
players are asked to please provide a plate of nibbles to help with
catering.
The team to represent Q.R.I. at Moore Park's Presidents day on 3rd July
are R.Harrison, C.Callaghan L.Edwards and F.Cook.
A reminder to members that annual subs are now due.

Sunday 16th – A.Collins & W.McCurley – Mixed Pairs.

Sunday 6th - Club Game - Mixed Pairs.
Sunday 20th - F.Cook & M.Stuchbery (the Barber) Trophies - Mixed Pairs.
December
Sunday 4th - Cookies Ham Day.
Sunday 18th - Christmas Breakup Bowls, drinks & lunch.
If there are any queries regarding the preceding games and dates, please
contact Games Director Ken Simpson or Secretary Amy Cummings.
It is envisaged that away games will be organised from time to time for
Q.R.I. bowlers this year and these games will be advertised as they are
arranged.
