Social Rides
Sunday morning rides start 6:30am (both Summer & Winter)
from Riverside Parklands, Quay St, Bundaberg. Group travels to
Burnett Heads and Coral Cove.
Please remember we don’t own the roads - we share them with the
traffic so ride safe and sensible and look after each other –
we’ll all enjoy riding together.
Criterium (Summer Racing)
Criterium Racing is held on a Saturday afternoon at Charley
Trigg Drive (past Shalom College). Nominations taken at 3.30pm
and racing commences at 4pm. Nomination fee is $5.00 and a
racing licence is required to participate.
There is no Criterium racing on a Tuesday and Thursday
afternoons anymore.

Saturdays Crit Racing Results
27th March
Ten riders competed in Saturdays Criterium, with reduced numbers
due to a number of riders away competing at the Mooloolaba
Triathlon. Kristina Bannister, Bernie Kemps and Greg Kildey
worked well together not giving the group in front of Peter
Scanlan, Rob Bainbridge and Tyson Kemps any room to get away.
The scratch riders of John Hampson and Arthur Puie worked
strongly to catch all groups with four laps left. In the last
lap the pace eased with all waiting for someone to make the
first move. At half a lap left the sprints began with John
Hampson coming from the back of the group to win. Rob Bainbridge
took second and Greg Kildey third.
The official Criterium season of racing now finishes with the
road season starting in a few weeks time. Construction of the
new Criterium track will hopefully begin in the near future with
races to be held this year.
