Jamie Lenkeit
Seven year old Jamie Lenkeit is in his second year in the
under 10’s. Like his dad Ian, Jamie plays for Norths and to
date has a top score of 12 with a three wicket hall his
best, and he said that Adam Gilchrist was his favourite
cricketer. He is into soccer and touch at school, and plays
ten pin bowling in the Mini Stars League on a Monday.
The youngster is a Titans supporter and Scott Prince fan,
whose number 1 TV show is the Simpsons, with Bart the star
of the show.

on Friday night. David polled 20 points
with Mark Kaczmarowski polling 12 points and Trent
Prossliner and Mick Warden on 10 points.
Richie Giles received the Service to Cricket Award.

Jake Goldsmith - Brothers Bulldogs
While the Division 1 Grand Final was scheduled to be played
over 100 overs it was all over in 31 after ATW were
dismissed for a mediocre 53 runs. Lachlan Donovan and Roy Howard
were the only batsmen to reach double figures with Donovan top
scoring with sixteen just ahead of sundries on twelve and Howard
on ten. Five batsmen scored ducks in the ATW innings.
Boyd Williams did the damage for Brothers
with 5/12 from his 5.5 overs. Mick Warden and Dale Kronk were
the other wicket takers with 2/9 and 2/19 respectively with
Peter Johnson the fourth bowler used finishing with 0/13 from
six overs.
Brothers made light work of the run chase
scoring 55 in six overs with opener Simon Kelly (2) the only
wicket to fall. Mick Parsons scored forty six of those runs in
nineteen balls with seven 4’s and two 6’s. Ben Smith remained
not out 2.
While Brothers were odds on to win the grand final few would
have expected such a comprehensive victory.
