Bundaberg Little Athletics Centre
- Thabeban Athletic Club.

The last week of Cross Country brought another PB for
Allison Heiner at Thabeban on Sunday. This was the fifth
straight improvement in her five kilometer run and took
her total improvements to a full five minutes over the
twelve week program.
Next week, on Sunday 10th at 12 noon, the athletes will
have a break up for the Cross Country with a sausage
sizzle and presentation of awards. All athletes with a
60% attendance will receive a medal.
Sunday will also see the NAIDOC Come & Try Day which
will start at 10am with a program of track and field
events for all ages and all abilities. Athletes and
their parents and friends are welcome to come along and
try athletics as a sport in the spirit of
reconciliation.
The summer season will commence on Sunday 17th July at
2pm. Athletes may register from 10th July or they have
the opportunity for a free two week trial if they would
prefer. Athletes must be aged from 3 years at time of
starting Tiny Tots program.
